Scotcharoos!

John's Scotcharoos recipe:
1 cup sugar
1 cup Karo Syrup
1 ½ cups of creamy peanut butter
6 cups of Rice Krispies
1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 cup of butterscotch morsels
Combine Karo syrup and sugar in a medium pot. Heat on a medium heat
until the mixture hits a low boil. As soon as it boils, remove from heat.
Add peanut butter. Pour Rice Krispies in a large bowl and add sugar/peanut
butter mixture. Put mixture into a well-greased baking pan and pat it down.
Melt the chocolate and butterscotch morsels together in the microwave or
in a double boiler. Cover Rice Krispies treats with melted chocolate/butterscotch
like icing. When chocolate mixture cools, cut and serve.
