Felicia: I made a
mistake, I said “no”, I should have said “yes”, but I made a mistake.
Mac: Alright, look I’ve got things to do, what are you going to do? Are you going to stay or are you going to go? What are you going to do?
Felicia: Are you listening to me?
Mac: I’ve heard it before.
Felicia: No you haven’t, please.
Mac: What?
Felicia: I was wrong, and you were right, and I’m sorry.
Mac: I’m sorry too, but it doesn’t change anything.
Felicia: Yes it does. I love you. I’ve loved you since long before I even knew that I love you, and I want to marry you, and if you turn me down again I don’t know what I’m going to do.
Mac: Just for the record, say it again.
Felicia: For the record, on the record, I love you. I’m sorry it took me so long to realize it. I’m profoundly sorry I didn’t say “yes” when you asked me to marry you, but I didn’t and that’s over. All I can say is now that I do want to marry you. I want to be your wife and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Because I think that we belong together.
Mac: Partners, huh?
Felicia: Partners, in everything. Please say that you love me and you want to marry me.
Mac: I wish you could see the look in your eye right now. I believe you love me Felicia, I really believe it, maybe for the first time. And just for the record, I would be honored to marry you.
Felicia: Oh Mac.
